I have selected three courses in the summer school. Some of them were theoretical, and some were practical. It was a really fruitful and meaningful experience for me. In addition, group work gave me an opportunity to meet some friendly classmates. During the process of working together, we could learn a lot from each other.

It was a cherished chance for me to study at RUC in the summer school with many Chinese students. They were very friendly and considerate, and we always communicated with each other. I was more than happy to be here, and would recommend the summer school of RUC to my friends.

1. How do I apply for a summer student visa for foreigners?

It is the responsibility of the student to use his/her official admission letter and Jw202 form to obtain a 90-day F visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate. Students are advised to apply the ISS program as early as possible, in case you have a little time to apply for the visa. If you can’t apply for F visa due to late ISS application, you can apply for a L visa (tourist visa), but a F visa is bly advised.

2. Does ISS Office of RUC provide airport pick-up service?
ISS office will provide a one-way pick-up service from the Capital International Airport to the campus of RUC for free, but we only can offered five times pick-up, if you missed the pick-up service, you have to reach RUC by yourself.

3. What if I arrive late for my program?

All students are expected to be present for the first day of class. You should make every effort to arrive on time. If you can not arrive for the first day of class you should notify the ISS office of your proposed arrival date and obtain permission to arrive late.
